two MoU for construction of 1200 houses

10. WPI Inflation Rises to
5.13% in September
i. Inflation-based wholesale prices rose to a two-month high of 5.13% in September, mainly due to the hardening of food prices and the rise in the cost of petrol and diesel. The Wholesale Price Index (WPI)-based inflation stood at 4.53% in August and 3.14% in September last year.
ii. According to the
government data released recently, food articles witnessed hardening of prices
with deflation at 0.21% September as against 4.04% in August. Data
showed retail inflation rose to 3.77% in September from
3.69% in the previous month.

Future Policy Award 2018

North-eastern state Sikkim won the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation's
(FAO) Future Policy Award 2018 for being the world's first 100%
organic state. The Gold Prize of the Future Policy Award 2018 are also known
as “Oscar for Best Policies”.

Award’s Silver Prize 2018 was awarded to the policies from Brazil, Denmark and
